I’ve decided to take matters (once again) into my own hands instead of waiting around for Hollywood to take interest in my work. As of now I have “All Circuits Busy” being professionally rewritten by Julie Paupe, owner of Scriptwriterhelp.com. Julie has helped me before, and she’s an expert.
My plan is to Continue Reading…
I’m tired of waiting on my big break, so now I do believe it is time for me to take action and produce my own film LOCALLY, by getting all the local filmmakers involved.
Hopefully, within the next week or two, I will contact Julie Gordon with my plans. She
has the Film Producing credits, and I will see if she’s interested in helping me produce my film, “All Circuits Busy”…
so Julie if you happen to stumble on this post, I’m contacting you soon.
I will be the writer as well as the Co-Producer, and Julie (if she’s interested) will have the Producer title. The film is very diverse, so Continue Reading…
Johan Nobles, a once academically gifted young man, is intent on getting his life back on track, when he falls in love with Symphony Hayes; she saves him after a near-fatal car crash. What he doesn’t know about Symphony is that she harbors secrets that may destroy everything, including their relationship.
This is my first Screenplay, still in need of a Producer, but NOW, I have an agent.
Although Continue Reading…
YOU will LOOK, LIVE & FEEL like that of a BLACK MAN for up to four (4) weeks. We will have use some of the BEST Makeup Artists in the Country to transform you into a Black Man, and they may include prosthetics. You will do all the things you do you take for granted as a White Man, but instead you will be seen by everyone you come in contact with as a Black Man. Some instances you will have only a hidden camera, but of course a crew will be nearby.
Right now it’s a pitch, and I’m just gathering names of interested individuals. Hopefully within 30 days, filming will start. However, a local individual will more than likely be used for the pilot; a tool to pitch to some of the major networks.
This project has been weighing heavy on my mind for the past year and a half, and I wished I would’ve gotten up the nerve to do this sooner so, the willing Participant (transformed into a Black Man) could attend a Donald Trump rally right before election day.
Racism is systematic, and prejudice is a bunch of individuals hell-bent on maintaining the system, and I personally would like to see these individuals in shoes that I know “mentally” they cannot fill.
If I had to sum it up in one sentence, Black Privilege Reality TV is geared towards the type of people who believe, Black People not complying with COPS causes their own demise.
That single statement alone explains the mindset of the individual who says it aloud.
What I want to do is take a White Male and have an experienced makeup artist transform him completely into a Black Man. He then will have opportunities to do the things he take for granted (privileged) as a Black Man. Mainly hidden cameras will be used.
I think this would make a terrific reality show, and it’s my attempt to battle or at least highlight racism especially to the ones who are in faux denial.
My idea participants are as follows: College & High School Kids• Young Adults • Law Enforcement Officers • Judges • Politicians • Creators of racists online games • Women (who share the views), just to name a few.
I know a lot are saying, “you work with police, you should be more supportive”. Although, I admire good Cops, at the end of the day, I’m Black First, and if you still don’t get it, then you need to sign up as a Participant.
Feel what Black Men (and Black Women) feel daily, and Continue Reading…
Yes… A Reality TV Show, and I’m calling it Black Privilege. However, if I’m able to pitch it successfully, then the network may want to rename it. I’m in the process of launching a crowdfunding campaign (indiegogo) so I can film at least a 15-30 minute pilot. I’m hoping once I launch the idea (registered with WGA east) It will go viral. Although, it has been done before, just not on my particular level.
All I can say is, Continue Reading…
